Well, here we are...all present and accounted for on a snowy Monday chair time! It was a bit dicey getting here today, but nevertheless I persisted and here I am.
I did stitch last night, but alas, do not have a photo to share. By the time it was time to hit the big girl sleigh bed I couldn't keep my eyes open, and the thought of doing it this morning completely escaped me.
It's Cyber Monday, isn't it? I suppose this means the internets will be buzzing with lists of gifts and credit card numbers...bouncing all about spreading Christmas cheer. I am relieved to be a spinster on a budget with an extremely short list this year, but somewhat miss the days of shopping my heiney off for Aunt Chrissy and Bosco and Stewey.
(I also miss the tiny little wiggle butts diving into their Christmas bags and playing with their new toys on Christmas morning. I think the sight of those tails wagging as they discovered something fuzzy and new is just about my favorite Christmas memory.)
The shepherd's pie was absolutely delicious, and will definitely go into the books as the best way to use leftovers yet. I ended up freezing quite a lot of the goodies, but would bet that the shepherd's pie will be gone tonight.
So we're back to semi-normal for now, Dearies. Buzzy and Beepy are doing their thing, and I'm going to kick back with a little Flosstube and Outlander until it's time to go home. I hope your Monday is swell and that you're doing something fun and exciting! Come tell me all about it!
Hope chair time goes smoothly and your trip back to CS2 is less dicey! Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteWhat a surprise was in my mailbox today... You do such a beautiful job of packaging... Hoping to get the tree up soon so that I can get back to stitching....

Glad that you included feedback about the shepherd's pie - and very pleasing that it turned out so well.
