I'm dressed and ready for my friends to arrive...wearing real shoes and jewelry and mascara. They texted from Ft. Wayne, which means they should be arriving any time now.

My hope for today is that I can just relax and enjoy, and not worry and fret myself into a tizzyfit trying to orchestrate everything to within an inch of its life. I need to breathe, get over myself, and just enjoy.

  1. It’s going to be great Coni! Enjoy you time with your friends. Have an awesome Saturday!

  2. Have a wonderfully blessed day! Love your leggings and #GoIrish!

  3. Deep breath in
    Deep breath out.
    Sometimes it works for me.
Enjoy the day and your friends!

  4. Amen....relax and enjoy the gift of Friendship and relating
to one another...that is what it is all about... what will be
remembered...the "fixings" will fade into memory by comparison and you will look back and wonder what all your
fret and fuss was about, given the good time you had with each other... Have a blessed day, Coni dear.

  5. Good luck! LOL

Hope you have a wonderful time.

    Sydney, Australia

  6. Hope you had a great time with your friends today, Coni!

  7. I hope you had a wonderful day with your friends. Love your "real" shoes, Miss Coni! What brand are they?

    1. Brand? Hahahahaha, Miss Robin! I probably fished these out of the Target clearance bin ten years ago. I own about three pairs of shoes...and these are the only ones suitable for company!

  8. Not being a people person myself, all I can say is enjoy time with your friends.
Coni I just had a laugh. If you ever went missing and the police came to any of us blog readers for your description for their sketch artist we would each be good at describing you from the knees down, lol. I love these photos of you in your many different "moods". We've seen Buzzy Day Coni, Happy Chair Coni, Company's Coming Coni to name a few

  9. Those shoes are cute! And you are right just enjoy the ride :)

  10. I am very nervous about people coming over too. And it takes the enjoyment out of it. I have tried tranquilizers etc. And it just makes me seem doped up. It is best just to let it happen and try to relax. If you can. I have no reason to tell anyone else what to do. I can not calm down until they leave. I hope you do have or did have fun with them. Happiness to you!
