What the heck happened to me?
I am in the d-chair at the moment and plan on heading home in a few hours to dinner and some stitching. Tomorrow, I am determined to clean and scrub things to within an inch of their lives, and somewhere in there is the goal of putting together a September stitchy basket before enjoying some time floating in the pool.
Rich is in New Jersey, so I am left to my own devices for a bit, but I confess that I've been contemplating a Downton Abbey marathon and a big pasta salad as the perfect antidote to all things sports and NCISish.
(But rumor has it there is a football game on tomorrow night in which I might be interested, so this little bachelorette time will not be completely without a ball of some kind being flung around.)
If the weather permits, I might try to get walking again in the mornings. The heat and humidity are not kind to this portly spinster, and my daily exercise has greatly diminished. Time to ramp it up again.
September is almost upon us, Dearies! I am sporting my September nail polish color and am ready for sweaters, pretty leaves, and something wonderful in the crock pot!
What's new with you?
Yes! Football... crockpots... stitching... is anything better? #GoDawgs #RollTide!
ReplyDeleteI'm so ready for fall! Cooler temps and more stitchy time as the evenings get longer!
ReplyDeleteYour commitment to enhancing your fitness has inspired me. I have a FitBit that helps motivate me to walk in the mornings and evenings most days for the past 6 or 8 weeks. (But not on the hot/humid days except beside the lake.) This morning I walked for nearly an hour and really enjoyed it.

A Downton Abbey marathon! Sounds like the perfect way to spend the weekend! I am recovering from a weekend away for a wedding. We had a lot of fun but didn't sleep much so I am still reeling.
