Just want you to know that today I took a cross stitch project in to be framed. Thanks to YOU, and your MOTIVATION, I feel like I am back on track after a very long absence from my most favorite hobby! Lucinda
Congratulations! I found your blog when I googled "Notre Dame Uniforms". You described them as shower curtain mold green or something like that and I've read every single post since then. I graduated from ND in 1984 and love when you talk about the campus. Can't wait to see what the next 10 years bring.
There's one post you had a long time ago that still cracks me up when I think about it. (Yup...just had to chuckle...again) Now THAT's a fun blog! Happy Anniversary!
Happy Blogaversary! I have enjoyed reading your blog for several years, and laughed and cried with you along the way. You have motivated me to stitch more, organize my stash, and be grateful to begin each day. Carolyn
Happy Blogaversary !!! I have been a regular reader for a few years now and enjoy all your entries !!! Thank you for being you, and sharing your world with all of us. Big hugs !!!
Happy Blogaversary. Can't tell you how much I love your blog. I get up each morning with a cuppa damn good and tune in to see what Coni is up to. May you blog for another 10 years.
Happy Anniversary, dear girl. Know that you bring a lot of joy to a lot of people, and we celebrate every one of your victories with you and truly do care. God bless! -p.
Hugely looking forward to very many more years from a healthier and livelier Spinster! Or, if she's not available, the current model is doing just fine.
Happy anniversary. I have been following your 'adventures' for several years, and always look forward to reading your blog. Best wishes for the future. Blessings.
I am sorry not to have been a better follower for the past two years or so, but I went back to that very first email of introduction from the Spinster herveryself and thought you'd like to reminisce:
"I don't have a blog, but I intend to start one soon. I suppose that this will mean the purchase of a camera and then all of the requisite blood, sweat, and tears necessary to learn to use the damn thing, but I'm willing to sacrifice for my art. I think that I am going to also persuade somebody to start a blog that is a gallery of people's stitching spaces, since I find this utterly fascinating. I confess to being the type of person who loves walking a neighborhood at night and seeing into people's windows....there is something about seeing how people do their thing that I find really interesting. I think seeing other stitchers and their gear would be cool."
"I've decided that it's bad luck not to have a ton of unfinished projects going, and I have promised myself that I will NOT lay in my coffin and say 'Gee, I'm glad I stopped buying needlework and I'm so happy that I drank lousy coffee.' Just not gonna' happen. I spend with impunity and pick up those $11 a pound beans regularly."
Oh the joy that we get to read you every day. Congratulations! I'm glad you stopped lurking. :)
Happy Blogoversary! Thank you so very much for this blog Coni, it is truly wonderful and one I enjoy reading (and re-reading) over and over like a good book. You have helped me to return to stitching when I've strayed due to depression over the years. You've brought many smiles, laughs, tears, and more to my days. I am very grateful to you for writing this blog and sharing your lovely stitching and your life. You and yours are in my thoughts and prayers always.
Congratulations and Happy Anniversary!! WhooHoo!
