I'm totally bummed that I missed my stitchy sisters at the Elkhart EGA luncheon today, but alas, I am just not feeling well at all. I suspect that it is a little touch of flu and that it could be much much worse had I not gotten the flu shot in November like a good girl.
Either that or it's something exotic and I will be used as a test subject for finding a cure.
(Which I am completely fine with, by the way.)
I'm going to have a hot bath, some more water, and then snuggle in for some stitching. I hope that your very own Saturday is...blissful...and that you will come tell me all about it!
It is Nutcracker weekend for us! The oldest GD is in three shows this weekend, so doing my part to support her.
ReplyDeleteNo snow here in N FL. It is too darn COLD though @ 43* brrr.. gonna be 28*tonight. Thank God our winter weather doesn't last only a wk or so with just 4-5 below freezing nights. This may happen once or twice all winter. My toes are frozen even with 2 prs of socks & the heat on. Guess it's time for a throw over the lap & maybe a pot of chili on the back burner.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your snow but PLEASE don't send it here. lol
Blessings,
Baa
Like your view from the bedroom, nice flat, magic snow. Take care of each other, love. Chris, France
ReplyDeleteSorry you've got the icks. And I love your new start - it looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteWatched the Army Navy game while I stitched a Christmas present. All football games should be played that way. Few penalties, no cheap shots, and no end zone antics. XOXO
ReplyDeleteWe had a bit of snow here -- covered everything except the roads and the sidewalks. I hope you are feeling better on the soon side of things. Thinking of you!
ReplyDeleteLove the snow! Take care. Your new project looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to reading your posts! I "discovered" you a few months ago and was immediately drawn into your stories. Just wanted you to know you have yet another fan/friend. Hope you get past this flu quickly.
ReplyDeleteHere in Minnesota we only have a dusting of snow usually we have a few feet of snow on the ground, like five feet, nope all the snow is on the east coast, does not make me sad nope not at all in fact if the snow never came again this old 66 year old lady would feel just fine.

I love your new start!!! I got to spend the with a group of stitching pals! We do a cookie day every December and today was that day. Bake Pfeffernuesse, exchange our own cookies, eat lunch, have dessert, a stash (I won't stitch it, but you might) exchange and got in a little stitching in between!
ReplyDeleteYour new start looks like something I would like. Who is the designer?
