No, I don't think it would be wrong. Then you can pick up where you left off when you want to. If anyone visits you can just say your contemplating on what to display in your own Art Presentation. ;) Love, hugs & prayers, Cathryn ♥
Coni~darlin your house your rules! you don't have lil peeps, pups or kittens running amuck so go for it~ but I could send my kitten Obi Wan Kenobi she LOVES running amuck. Blessings, Baa go
Don't you just love Billions? Can't wait for the next season. Of course you should leave it all out. It's wonderful to be surrounded by things you love! ❤️
I say as long as you don't trip and break your neck, leave them out! Makes it easy to just pick one up and go, you may get a whole lot more done...I know I would if I didn't have to get off my butt and search for something, but then that is just me!
Loved Billions - I also can't wait until the next season. Unless you are planning a party, I would leave them out makes it easy to find the one your in the mood to stitch on. I have a single friend (meaning a friend that is single I am fortunate to have more than one friend) anyway she has a stand either floor or lap stand & light set up in three different rooms of her house with different views and spends two hours in each room working on three different projects. She gets up at 5:00 AM by lunch time she has made great progress on three different projects - now that would be a perfect stitching world! Enjoy your Sunday in the pool, cooking, stitching or just chillin'!
Yesterday I was going to say you have a lot of WIPs, today seeing them all in one spot, no you don't really. Thinking about it, I have at least that many, just not all needlework.
I say leave them there if seeing them makes you happy and give you incentive to keep working on them. If you're anything like me, out of sight out of mind. You could get those Target baskets but leave them there. If you need to move the WIPs, it would be much easier in baskets.
Take my word for it--WIPs on display can be terrifying! I store mine in my office so they're with me day in and day out. They're always demanding attention and there are only so many hours in the day. If I had somewhere else to store them, I'd have more peace of mind.

Of course you can leave all the canvases out. Is it not EYE CANDY for all of us to envy?? I think it looks sensational...and it might spur me on to get that organized, too.
Oh Coni -- you are such an enabler! I am working on a project for which I need to make another 5 mini-stockings (completed 12 so far), but now I want to start one of the other projects that are supposed to wait for the stockings to be finished. Need more self control, not pictures showing it is okay to have lots and lots of WIPs. Love yours! ;-)

Looks good to me. wish I could have my stash like that, but I have to share my lodgings and it would not go over well with him.

ReplyDeleteToo much pressure having to look at them every day. Plus when you have them put away it's fun when they come out!

ReplyDeleteWho lives here? Oh, you do. Of whom are you asking permission? Just you. In other words, if you wanna, you shoulda. I do, and it feels lovely.
