(sigh)
This morning started at Missie Jane's church for a stitch/craft breakfast and then ended with the South Bend EGA picnic at Miss Katy's office. I wish I could tell you that I accomplished a lot, but alas, I'm afraid that I am still a bit hungover and sore from yesterday's little Buzzy party.
I suppose that I should have stayed home, but it was so nice to be with "my lady friends" and enjoy their company.
If only I would have been smart enough to get my underclothes on properly.
So now I am headed to the big girl sleigh bed for a nap, and then methinks I will hit the Happy Chair for some real stitchy action...no bra included this time.
Happy Saturday to one and all! Here's hoping that your everything is right side in and that your needles are flying!
As long as your underclothes were under your clothes, I'm sure no one noticed.
ReplyDeleteBras are relatively unimportant in the overall scheme of things. Don't sweat the small stuff!!! Concentrate on your wonderful stitching. You are a marvelous stitcher.
ReplyDeleteLMAO noooooooooo. Oh well at least it was on under your blouse. I once went an entire day in public with my top on inside out & backwards & no one said a word (not when I was a kid either) only a few months ago. Lol
ReplyDeleteTrying the new allergy meds today I guess they must take a while to work because I still feel like I have a mouth full of fur.
I'm glad you had such a good time with your "lady friends" & hope the rest of you day is just as sweet.
Blessings

Sweet day and chuckles at the end. A good nap. Some good dinner, a movie and stitching. Sounds like a perfect day to me!!!
ReplyDeleteUnless you have someone else (who is incredibly sexy)undressing you, don't worry. NO big deal.

Oh, I'm sorry, but I think this is so funny. I can't tell you how many times I've gone out with things on backwards, inside out etc. as an adult. My mother used to tell me that was good luck (maybe just to humor me). I hope it means good luck for you. Jeffrey Dean wasn't around so not to worry. Enjoy your nap and the rest of your evening.

Coni, glad you had a good outing out with your "lady friends" even though your bra was inside out. Thank you for the chuckle! I hope you had a lovely snoozy nap and then some good stitching time.
ReplyDeleteNow THAT is what I call hysterical!
ReplyDeleteAt least no one could tell. I've gone to client meetings with two different earrings, and also, two different colored socks. Oops - didn't I look professional that day!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a wonderful day! Even if it's a bit physically taxing, something that good for your mental health has to count as a win. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had such a wonderful day. You needed to be with your 'lady friends'\. Good mental health medicine as someone else mentioned. Today was good for me too. It was my 70th birthday and my daughter and her husband took me and my hubby to dinner at Cracker Barrel. I loved it. Wonderful food and wonderful company. ♥ Love, hugs & prayers, Cathryn
ReplyDeleteIt is always a good time with lady friends. Good for the mind and spirit. Its worse when you leave home without the bra. LOL. So you are doing fine. I hope you enjoy your night stitching.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to hear you had a fun day with your buddies. I had to laugh about the bra story. I once put on a shirt inside out and realized it when I was in a store. :)

LMAO...Oh Coni....i love it!! You're a sister from another mother. Enjoy your nap! 😂😂😂
ReplyDeleteConi, one good thing about inside out bras and drawers, they still do their job! LOL. You needed this day out for fun. Keep truckin'.
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha....whew!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what was funnier: you wore your bra inside out all day (and had a lovely time, I might add)...
...or all that the next patagraph consisted of, was (and I quote), "Sigh."
You are too funny, Coni!
You are just going to have to get the post donning of a bra down pat before that tall handsome charmer finally
ReplyDeletewins you over...inside out, indeed. So glad you had a good
sharing time with stitching Friends....
This is crazy....my bra for the first time ever came completely undone in a store this afternoon. Was so surprised! And not in s good way. Completely curtailed my shopping.
ReplyDeleteOnce again, you crack me up!
ReplyDeleteYears ago when I was a working accountant I went to work one day with one black shoe and one navy shoe It was mid
ReplyDeleteAfternoon when I noticed. The worst thing was the shoes were heels, and the heels were not the same height.
Hey at least you had a bra on because I once got to the grocery store to realize that I didn't put one on. Now I'm a very busty gal so it was quite easy to tell so I just left my cart and shuffled back to my car in shame. Glad you had a good time with your ladies even if you weren't quite feeling up to snuff yet.
ReplyDeleteMust have been something in the air yesterday..... I went to my daughter's engagement party with (as we call them) my clunders on inside out!
ReplyDeleteAt least nobody else lose would ever know!
I am pretty sure that is supposed to bring you good luck. :) And I have also been known to wear mine inside out a time or two.
ReplyDeleteAnd which of your friends was going to look to see if your bra was inside out or rightside out. Happy Stitching.
ReplyDeleteI live you, Coni!!! Who on Earth would have known your bra was on inside out except you. Enjoy your naps!
ReplyDeleteI don't type on my phone well - I meant love you!!!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to reassure you that you are not the only one who is lingerie-challenged!! Back in the eighties when stockings were the thing....I went to work wearing one navy stocking and one black 😁😁😁😁😁😁 big hugs xx
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to hear you had a fun day with your buddies. I had to laugh about the bra story. I once put on a shirt inside out and realized it when I was in a store. :)
