The linen is 28 count Fresco from Picture This Plus. I think it's going to be swell and big enough to do this on it also:
Finally, here is the view from the studio Happy Chair:
OK, enough blathering for one day! Time to go night night and rest my weary little head.
Sweet Dreams Coni Dear - nothing like a sound sleep while still enjoying the medication from your procedure!
ReplyDeleteA Private Garden (Jardin Prive) is just what you need for peace and serenity. Thanks for updating us all on today's procedure.

You are amazingly coherent for awakening from sedation. I remember hugging my doctors and asking which one was Dr. McDreamy and which was Dr. McSteamy! Good for you- glad it went well. :) -p.
ReplyDeleteConi I'm so glad you procedures went well & your doing well too. I LOVE both the projects maybe I'll have to look for them instead of always working up my own goofy projects. I had good news at the Drs today she gave me an Rx for allergy nasal spray & pills that will work with all my health concerns & medications so I can keep our darling kitty "Obi Wan Kenobi" & maybe get another Jack Russell (I miss my sweet Jake aka Mr Potato Head) next spring. Hope your nap leaves you refreshed & ready to stitch
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Baa
Love both projects, you'll probably have them both done by Sunday.
ReplyDeleteThose post procedure naps are some of the best! Enjoy it.
Sweet dreams, Coni! Very nice projects to wake up to!
ReplyDeleteYour adjusted selection of colors makes a lovely blend and
ReplyDeletewill be relaxing to the eye when being worked. Take all the rest you can while the happy juice still streams through your system. Hope you awaken refreshed and ready to stitch away. No need to say "Welcome Back" as you never
were away, oh dedicated one....Thanks for keeping us in the loop.....
Oh my what a day for you! I'm so glad you're home and looking forward to a stitchy treat after your nap. :D God Bless! Love, hugs & prayers, Cathryn ♥
ReplyDeleteTwo great choices! Very pretty! Get some rest now and happy stitching when you wake up!
ReplyDeleteSo glad your procedure went well, and now you can take it easy for a little while. Love the projects you've chosen! :)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice nap.
ReplyDeleteGreat choices!
The Studio looks nice. :)

So very Buzzy is now perfection, with the enhanced ensemble. Was it a Givenchy coil?
ReplyDeleteAt least today you were able to make up for not so much sleep during the night. Hopefully you are still enjoying a peaceful snooze, after being quite the brave lady and good patient today.
The new projects are pretty, but I was thinking today - you picked up a project that the needlework shop had all kitted up for you, a few weeks or so ago. Red Velvet? German Chocolate? I have to go back through the blog to find the right name, but I remember thinking I loved it and couldn't wait to see it come to life in your hands.
Please continue the R&R, no hauling, no stressing, no straining, just reading, stitching and a little cooking. (Oh, and no driving Saturday either.) Prayers continue.....
Yes, Red Velvet Cake......
ReplyDeleteSuper looking projects and what a cool piece of fabric to stitch them on! I hope you had a peaceful nap and get some good sleep this evening.
ReplyDeleteExcuse me...blathering? Really?
ReplyDeleteClearly, Honey, you have no idea what is going on, here. We (the women out in blog-land) LOVE to read your posts, giggle over your choice of words, marvel over your creativity on all fronts, and drool over your lovely photos...no blathering detected, here!
Please don't take this the wrong way, Coni...but I love all your posts the same, whether they are pure comedy, or a declaration of angst...because it is in those posts where you are so true, so human. That is when you reveal the beauty of your heart, and we fall in love with you.
I wish we lived in the same city. Or even in the same country. I'd Mother you to death. I promise you...you'd be like that beautiful black and white cat...in the Pepe le Pew cartoons. Remember her? She was always squeezing to get out of his amorous grasp...honestly, that would be you...
Love Jardin Prive patterns. When I see projects like these I get tempted and go shopping :) Happy Stitching.
ReplyDeleteI wish we could shop together so I could buy the exact same patterns you do! I'm glad your tests are done. It's the IV I hate the most!
ReplyDeleteYou have such great taste when it comes to patterns! I, too, love those by Nathalie Cichon, and there are so many wonderful French designers creating fab designs for us. It helps, but you don't really need to speak/read French, as you can pretty much work it out, and the DMC colours are universal. Hope you had a great sleep, and feel much better now!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous colours and design...as usual. I am actually a knitter but really enjoy your blog. The stitchy stuff but mostly you. I am struggling with my health too and your humour and honesty is wonderfully reassuring. Much love and hugs xx
ReplyDeleteI just emailed this pattern to my local shop to see if she can get it for me. All I need is another project! Rest and feel better.
ReplyDeleteHappy Saturday morning. Hopefully you had a very peaceful night of sleep and awakened ready to have a darn good cuppa and relax with some stitching. Laundry is on my list for this evening (talk about a hot Saturday night) because the day is otherwise occupied with a drive to the bay for some time with mom and dad, and hopefully a nice breeze. In between moving laundry around this evening, I am determined to do a little stash exploration and decide what is going along on our August trip to San Diego. I will have the days to myself for rest and relaxation, so Needlework. Yippee.
ReplyDeleteSome years ago I had to have a transesophageal echocardiogram, which was basically a camera shoved down my throat to the heart area. Apparently when I came to I very earnestly assured the doctor that the drugs he gave me were of the highest quality. Enjoy your nap and stitching time. Glad all went well.
ReplyDeleteI love those abc houses!
ReplyDeletePretty new projects! Looking forward to seeing your progress!
