Stewey and I hit the big girl sleigh bed last night and stayed there until 1:30 this afternoon! If we could have figured out a way to get our newspapers, coffee, and tea delivered...I'm pretty sure we'd still be there!
Hmmmm....wonder if I could set up a new cockpit in the bed with my stitching, etc?
It was good enough for Hugh Hefner...why not good enough for a portly spinster?
Yes,I agree. The first cool days are wonderful! If you do figure out a bed sitiching set-up, please let me know. I am certain others, would agree!!!!!

ReplyDeleteMy daughter just bought my granddog a bed made for use on the couch (sofa, depending on where you live :) ) that is built up on three sides. Something like that in our size would work well!
ReplyDelete8.30 am was my puppy bebes (9 yrs., old) limit this morning. That was sleeping in for me. We have an entire routine that we go through, takes about an hour or so in the morning. We rescued a neighbor dog this afternoon. Our street has turned into the speedway route to the school a couple of blocks over. Her parents were so thankful. You and Master Stewey have a peaceful evening.
ReplyDeleteLucky you. It's still to unpredictable here to put on the flannel sheets. I love to be cozy warm.
ReplyDeleteNothing better than sleeping withrough the dog you love!
ReplyDeleteI too love the cooler, crisp days of fall. Best time of the year in my opinion. Spring is wonderful, but after a hot and humid summer, an autumn day can bring so much comfort.
ReplyDeleteI put the flannels on the bed because we are currently out of power. I was so happy to remember I had them because it's gotten down into the 40's. Snuggle Stewie for me.
