MONDAY MONDAY

I had quite a marathon of stitching and puppy tending yesterday.  Both boys needed constant love and attention all day, so I planted my fanny in the Happy Chair, hit the remote "on" button and went to town.

Here are the results:

I really love how these Amadeus stitches turned out, and can I just say that they are both easy AND fun to do?:

I wasn't too sure about my color selection for these areas at first, but now methinks I like them:

So that's where we stand today, kids.  Another Monday morning has kicked off with the best intentions for a good week ahead.  After a quick trip to the Targets and the grocery, I am heading back to Spinster HQ for more stitching Olympics!

    That Amadeus looks fantastic! You're doing great. Today I'll be pretending to work and going home to luxuriate in a clean house. (Bo-ring!)

    Oh, I am loving this piece! It's beautiful, Coni. As for today, well... I went to bed last night with great plans, but after a restless night and waking up to a dreary, rainy day, I haven't accomplished anything yet! But it's just noon so there's still time and hope, right?

    Your Amadeus block looks fabulous as does the block next to it. Go Coni! I should be closet cleaning, but stitched instead.

    This looks like a fun piece to stitch & I love the red / white / blue theme. Looks like you are in the running for a gold medal in stitching!

    How great would the Amadeus stitch look in black and orange (or purple or green) for Halloween? It looks like a spider web. Gorgeous!

    I'd be cross eyed trying to do the needle work you do Coni. I'm a lover of navy (all blues truth be told) so for this piece you can do no wrong as far as I'm concerned!We are getting ready to move so I'm busy trying to get things organized before packers come.I've been waiting for a break in our humidity to get some things taken care of in the garage but today I had to just do it! It's such a nice break to come visit your blog

    Lookin' good! I like to do Amadeus stitches too, amazing how many different effects you can get depending on how they are arranged.
