Guess what she found on her bike ride tonight?
Holy crap on a cracker. This has been a very interesting day!
And yes, in case you were wondering...that is the exact same butterfly that came to Stewey and me this morning and I'm pretty sure if you look closely enough at it you'll see that it's wearing a Notre Dame class ring, has a love of Oreo cookies, and knows that there is no way in the world his idiot daughter would ever be able to survive without a little help from her friends...
Tomorrow we're buying lottery tickets.
I love signs above, it always seems to come at a time it's truly needed.

ReplyDeleteNothing quite like a butterfly! Isn't the Greek word for butterfly the same as their word for soul?
ReplyDeleteConi, this might be way out of line, but I don't think so: do you maybe know about greatergood.com? It's an above-board free-click-to-save-the-universe website with a lot of good causes to support, and I think you might well take comfort from a daily click on their Animal Rescue option - and indeed others. I've been clicking away for years like a lost woodpecker, and last year when we had to help our dear Matilda dog out of our world after, we think, 17 years (she was a rescue dog; one of the best) I felt extra glad to be able to give other critters the kind of second start in life that we gave her. Just a thought!
And I love the 60s colours of your Bargello piece: miniskirts and glow-in-the-dark eye makeup and lots of psychedelic frolics. Play the Beatles while you stitch! Especially, play Hey Jude.
All the best from chilly South Africa
You definitely can't doubt that butterfly now! It sure is pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love this post! Thank you, Coni.
ReplyDeleteOh Coni, buy some Oreos while you are getting those lottery tickets. Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteNo, not really. Sometimes it just feels it has to try harder to get the message through. :) Love, hugs, & prayers, Cathryn
ReplyDeleteEverything happens for a reason. You seem to be able to "get" the message. We are all standing beside you. Love, etc.
ReplyDeleteWOW! I read your post yesterday, and even though I'm far away in Mississippi, today I was driving and one of these beautiful butterflies flew right up beside my window and looked and me, then flew off......I thought of your blog post!! :)
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is WOW!
ReplyDeleteI think he came to see me as well! He sure seems to get around!
ReplyDeleteYou can see some pictures of him on my blog here: http://lildupprairie.blogspot.com/2016/07/life-still-sucks-but-there-are-blessings.html.
