This is the first time that I can remember our first snow fall of the season being so significant. They say we got nine inches. I believe them!
Progress on Copper & Turquoise:
Yesterday was a bit light in the productivity department. I managed to make goulash, eat goulash, and stitch. Today, I think, will be more of the same! After all, isn't that what Sundays are for?
The snow pictures are beautiful! Especially when viewed from a nice
ReplyDeletecomfortable stitching chair in a nice warm house. You are making great progress and as you add other colours the piece becomes even more lovely.

Oh Coni, thank you for sharing your snow pictures. How about packing it along with you, Stewey and some stitching and bringing it to me in Virginia? I thinking stitching and eating goulash sounds like a good plan unless you want add play in the snow to your list.
ReplyDeleteThis will be my first winter of NOT living in snow. I'm finding I'm liking it just fine looking at other people's pictures as well as locally up on the mountains in the distance.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, that is exactly what Sundays are for...eating good food, relaxing & stitching. Enjoy! :)
Beautiful pictures! How does Stewey like going out in it?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful progress!! I love the snow!!! My son would be in heaven!! A 6 year old with an old soul. He would rather be shoveling snow than watching cartoons. I hope you and Stewey don't have to go out and can stay inside all warm and snug :)
ReplyDeleteSunday at our abode consist of the same, throw in church and newspaper scattered about. Snow its beautiful when it is on someone else lawn.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful snowy photos!
ReplyDeleteGreat progress on the stitching too :-)
Beautiful pictures! I'm so jealous--we got nuthin' but rain here in SW Ohio. It's still good stitching weather, but snowy weather is better all the way 'round, IMNSHO!
ReplyDeleteI find snow pictures SO much more beautiful after moving from "up North" to the Texas Gulf Coast.
ReplyDeleteI love your needlepoint project.
Rita, I agree with you 100%. To both comments. I never saw snow until I
ReplyDeletewas 18 years old and was moved to the middle west.
