AT THIS RATE, WE'LL SEE THIS ONE COMPLETED SOMETIME IN THE YEAR 2092

Progress continues on L'Hiver, but if I say to myself "Gee, this really stitches up pretty quickly" one more time, I'm going to hide my safety scissors from myself.

Why do I always sit down with a piece and think "Oh, I'll have this one done by the weekend, surely"?

Been there, said that -- at least a hundred times. That's why I have so many stitching UFO's and WIP's.

  2. Hey, that's my line, LOL! I think every stitcher thinks like that, Coni...we are just a n optimistic lot...or delusional, LOL!

Loving the WIP though...not matter how long it takes you to finish it, it is going to be lovely!

  8. I actually OWN this! AND the other three seasons! AND I've done two of them - but not this one (I did summer and spring and started fall and then some kid at the pool dripped water all over it and it ran and I quit.....) Aren't they gorgeous? But they DO take a lot longer than you think.

  9. You say that because you are a stitcher. Don`t we all have delusions of grandeur? *wink*

Looks great so far. Kisses to Stewey and Bosco...

  10. Seeing your progress pictures of L'Hiver makes me want to pull out mine. I think I started in the opposite corner of where you did, so maybe we could meet halfway and then call it finis?

  12. I do the same thing! I always always underestimate how much time it's going to take to stitch something by about 5000%. L'Hiver looks beautiful though.
