The spinster can't come to the blog right now. She and her wacky little family have all departed for Spring Break...
Bosco was last seen wearing sunglasses and surf shorts while barking a happy little "Later, dudes!" as he headed off for Daytona.
Aunt Chrissy has retreated to her needlework studio, where she is determined to find the Lost Dutchman's Gold.
The Spinster has pulled the covers over her head with sincere hopes that 45 will simply pass her by without so much as a bang or a whimper.
And Stewey has boarded his mini-yacht, The S.S.Urinal for an around the world cruise.
Here's hoping that your week is lovely, uneventful and full of all things stitchy!
Happy birthday. Hope you and Aunt Chrissy go out to eat at a scrumptious restaurant, then go to a stitching shop and treat yourself to some new stash, then to a bookstore and treat yourself to some goodies! After all of that, go to a coffeshop and have a great cup of java and a piece of pie! Heck, it's not often that you turn 45!
ReplyDeleteBeing 45 is a wonderful age -wishing you a very happy birthday!
ReplyDeleteI wish I was only 45! Have a lovely birthday Coni - I hope Stewey brings you back a wonderful gift from his world cruise!
ReplyDeleteHappyyyy birthday:) hope you have a fab day , lots of stash goodies and a yummy cake :) love mouse xxxx
ReplyDeleteOh honey - at least the doctor didn't tell you to loose weight today! Mine did - thanks doc!
ReplyDeleteI'll be 43 in a few months - so I'm right behind you.
Have a great birthday and take care!
What a hoot! The S.S. Urinal! I needed one when I read that part. LOL I vaguely remember 45. Enjoy and celebrate! Maybe the Stewster will bring you back a wonderful prize from his voyages....like some kind of specialized toilet paper or something like that! LOL
ReplyDeleteI would cover my head too. Not because of a birthday (Happy Birthday!!!), but in hopes that I could hide from a possible invite for a cruise on the S.S. Urinal!
ReplyDeleteBlessings on your birthday! I don't even remember 45. LOL. Take care. Cathryn
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday! I turned 45 today also.... didn't know that hiding under the covers was appropriate birthday behavior. I feel robbed...
ReplyDeletehappy stitching....
Happy b-day!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, enjoy your special day. Stitch well.
ReplyDeleteI hate birthdays, too. I try to ignore them except for one thing: Calories don't count on your birthday! Happy Birthday!!! :O)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Coni. Have a blast!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Coni! 45 isn't so bad - just might take some getting used to.
ReplyDeleteTell Bosco to stop by my place on his way to Daytona. I'll have a nice snack waiting.
Oh 45 isn't so bad....I just hit 60! Mentally I feel 35 or so...physically - that's another story. I'm busy losing the same 30 pounds I've lost at least 20 times before. Be glad you are 45 - the alternative is not so good! Happy Birthday and we all look forward to your return!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! I will happily pass the "45" banner to you today while I take up the "46". :) Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteLook at it this way Coni. You're not really 45. You have COMPLETED 45 years. You are now really 46! SEE 45 wasn't so bad after all, now was it?
ReplyDeleteJust remember this - Enjoy life. It has an expiration date!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Have a good break Coni!! While you are 'resting' go get a copy of HP and the Deathly Hallows 1.I reccomend the Blue Ray version....lots of extras! I look forward to your return my dear....kisses to Stewey...
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, and I hope you guys enjoy your break!
ReplyDelete45 - no big deal. Some great things happened to me when I was in my 40's.
Best wishes for a wonderful 45th year!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Coni! I hope you have a wonderful day full of everything that makes you happiest!
ReplyDeleteHaven't had time to do much commenting lately Coni but I've been following along nonetheless. I saw one or two of those Extreme Coupon shows - OMG those people are crazy! They must have a lot more time than I do, that's all I can say. I can't imagine some of the food can keep fresh long enough to use it up. It obviously has become an obsession with some of them - more about the thrill fo the bargain than actually needing/wanting the food. But then again who am I to talk about obsessions......(600+ stitching patterns and 30 more yrs to live if I'm lucky ha ha). Hope you are enjoying your birthday and maybe we'll see some new bday stash??? Believe me I wish I was 45 again.....
ReplyDeleteI'm turning 45 this Saturday. Spending it under the covers sounds like a lovely idea.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a happy quiet birthday.
