I love my french press also!!!! I have had one for years and years. I also have had many electric ones and EVERYTIME they break I get out the old press - this last time the electric one broke I just did not replace it. We have been super happy with the old press for a good long while now - never missing the electric one!!! ahhhhh coffee - elixir of the gods!!!!
I've never used a french press but I wouldn't give up my Bunn for a million dollars. In fact, I like mine so well, I bought an extra one just in case the one I'm using goes belly up. Must have my coffee--its like part of my stash! I'm thinking of putting another Bunn in my stash room.
Oh be still my heart - that is one gorgeous cup of coffee! O.k. I'm getting out my french press, reaching for the beans, the milk - soon I'll be in heaven with you. :D
