Have you checked with the doctor to make sure you haven't got an inner ear infection? I had vertigo-like spells a few years ago and it turns out my ear drum was bulging out. A course of nasal drops soon cured the dizziness (ears and nose are connected).
Try a decongestant like Sudafed. Sometimes sinus problems as well as ear problems can cause dizziness. Happens to me a lot and this always works. Feel better!!
