SATURDAY SPINSTER SHENANAGINS
This little guy was quick and fun to do! The little wooden ornament form and the threads came from the Michaels, and the chart is from stitchsprout on the etsy:
Hi Coni, I recently found your blog and read it from the beginning. Oh my, you made me laugh out loud and cry all over myself. You are quite the storyteller, and I loved every minute of it. I was disappointed when I reached the end, because I would like to read another book by this author. I have a brother on home peritoneal dialysis, and I am a dietitian whose first position as an RD was in a pediatric dialysis and transplant unit, so I have a small insight into your medical issues. As I read your blog, I kept thinking about the kids I worked with, and how much they would have loved hearing from Stewey about what they were about to go through. I think you and Stewey could bring a very unique perspective, and it could be really helpful for these children. I can already picture it! I have stitched since I was a very young girl, but I have been no where near as prolific as you. You really seem to have flying fingers. I mostly do surface embroidery and haven’t done needlepoint since the 70’s but you inspired me and I ordered a new project. So happy you received a transplant and that you are doing well. You have brought much joy into my life while reading about yours. I feel like I know you, and you are a dear friend, and I look forward to hearing more. Thank you for being you! Christina in FL
So cute!
