HAPPY SATURDAY

First we played the golfing...

And then we saw a peregrine falcon in a tree...

And then we floated in the pool for a bit...

And then I finished Sara's gift...

And then I painted my nails...

And then I fished through my WiP stash and pulled my next project...

Now it's time for dinner, and I either need to start cooking or ordering! Here's hoping that you had a lovely day, Dearies! Come tell me all about it!

  9. You really rolled through the day, got so much done (not that that's the be-all of existence, but it surely felt good!).

  10. Your spotting a peregrine brings back some good memories of my time in Indiana. I worked at a nature center in Lake County and we monitored 2 peregrine nests. One was in an expansion joint on an overpass over the Grand Cal Canal; the other was over a working floor in a steel mill. Peregrines can be very aggressive when they've a nest to defend; the female at the mill had been known to knock off hardhats and even pull off the huge gloves the furnace workers wore. I asked one of the steel workers about this, and his reply was "Why ma'am, they's union birds!" The pair had been made honorary members of the local Steelworkers union, had their numbers and their pictures were on the wall at the local union hall, so they were part of the steelworker brotherhood.
