A day in the life of a flu-ridden spinster begins in the big girl sleigh bed...we got snow overnight!
Ahhhh...coffee maker's on and ready!
Woopsie...need to find my fuzzy socks and put them on...stat!
Happy Chair...I'm coming your way! Gird your loins!
Oh baby! Hot and fresh damn good ready to do its magic!
No. Words. I just don't have any words for this...
Now before you feel sorry for me, please know that I am warm and safe and dry, have plenty of meds and provisions and things to keep me busy, and because Magoo is in New Jersey it is blissfully quiet and I can move from place to place without feeling the need to have hair, makeup, and wardrobe fixed.
I'm a big lump of sick today and just enjoying every minute of it, Dearies!
What's new with you?
Coni, stay in where it is warm and cozy! Enjoy the view of the snow outside, the damn good inside and whatever you decide to do with your hands today. Thinking of you!
ReplyDeleteSome days ya just gotta relax & go with the flow. Keep the fluids & Kleenix handy & climb back into the big girl sleigh bed when it gets to be too much
ReplyDeleteNot too much. Allergies are still around. And we have had a hard freeze. Oh, well! One happy event today: I am picking up my last finishing ornament. It is a darling reindeer surrounded by tiny ornaments. I am pumped!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are safe and warm. Enjoy you quiet time!!!
Snuggle in and continue to recuperate, with an ample supply of damn good at the offing. We are in the midst of icy rain and frigid temps, so indoors is on today's agenda here, as well. Take care and feel better.
ReplyDeleteTake care Coni.

Have to say I love the pictorial blog post. A nice snapshot of your day (or at least part of it). Hope you are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteEnjoying the mild fall weather here in the Pacific Northwest. Get better, Coni.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon
ReplyDeleteSending... love, hugs & prayers. Cathryn ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteEven when you are sick you are wonderful. You always make me smile and I hope today is just as good but that you are feeling a bit better :)
ReplyDeleteAt first reading, I thought it said futzing socks instead of fuzzy socks.
