I swear, you can't make this stuff up.
Dearies, I am in the Happy Chair today with Christmas movies and my stitching. I feel a bit like I've been in a car crash, but I suppose that's to be expected for a bit. I'm going to finish my damn good and get on with it.
Love and thanks to all...hope your Saturday is swell!
Wow! I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! God has a plan!! Hope you feel a lot better today!
ReplyDeleteSending love and hugs to you!
Kelly
The universe is telling you this was the right decision. :)
ReplyDeleteThere are no accidents, my dear. You're where you should be, WHEN you should be. Absolute confirmation.
ReplyDeleteRest. Let the world turn around you. Merry Christmas, dear girl :)
-p.
There was more than one Wonder Woman in that encounter! Enjoy the quiet and love. Merry Christmas. XOXOXO
ReplyDeleteYou probably could have read the whole book of War and Peace! Hang on it will get better. My hairdresser's mother has been going thru it 4 times a week for over 12 years and raised two grand children in the process! They won't do a transplant on her because of her immune system - so this is her life with no end in sight to get off of it. This should give you the bright side of your situation. Here's hoping you can have a Merry Christmas - looking forward to at least feeling better once the treatments get your system rebooted!
ReplyDeleteConi dear, leave it to you to make lemonade and give us
ReplyDeletethe big guffaw in describing your tech... no coincidence..
I echo Berkshire... you do us proud. Rest in that happy chair to your heart's content and watch as the body dents
and bumps of your car crash get smoothed away with each passing day. Looking good ~
Glad it went well yesterday! Enjoy today in the stitchy chair!!,
ReplyDeleteSee? There is someone orchestrating things, boosting you when you need it. I am agnostic, and even I can see that someone is looking out for you. I do think there are angels, both among us and ones we can`t see. Thinking of you every day. Love Mj
ReplyDeleteOf course you can't make these things up. God has everything in His hands. Love, Hugs and Prayers, Cathryn ♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteGod is in charge! He's looking after all of us! Glad the first dialysis hurtle is behind you. It can only get better! Prayers continue... watching Xmas movies sound like the perfect downtime pastime!🎄🎄🎄🎄⛄☃️❄ Luv

My first day of chemo was like that. I received flowers, a knitted hat, muffins and coffee. Over the months I received many wonderful things from the staff and volunteers. Go with the flow and good luck.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Coni. I think you just got a big message, you are Wonder Woman.
ReplyDeleteNew title : Wonder Woman Coni ! So glad you got through your first dialysis. Give your body time to adjust and then you will off and running. Remember we are all Wonder Women ~ just in different ways. Merry Christmas and God Bless.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time in the Happy Chair, Coni! You can check another first off the list. Let your body rest and give it time to adjust. Thinking of you! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI just got caught up with this past weeks' entries. I hope yesterday was ok, and that you've been able to rest today. Here's hoping for good days and you get your day in the cube room. I love when you pull a new stitchy basket together :) Be well soon Coni.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping that you soon feel quite a bit better. Saw the latest Star Wars movie late today (with my daughter and granddaughter) and drove in a nice, fine snow storm! May we have a white Christmas yet!
ReplyDeleteTake it easy and enjoy the movies. The cheesier, the better 😁😁 Feel better soon. Much love for a merry Christmas xx
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteBeing in the Happy Chair with Christmas movies and stitching sounds wonderful!! Hope you enjoy.
ReplyDeleteNo way!! What are the chances of that happening?! I'm pretty sure a certain pup had something to do with what shirt she had picked out that morning :)
ReplyDeleteTake it slow, Coni. After a few sessions, you will get a sense of how quickly you can return to life as "normal" (whatever that means) without overdoing it.
