I can remember when I was a young gal (11 or 12) my Mom and I heard "Blowing Bubbles" on the radio. We got to saying the word "bubbles" and started laughing at the sound of the word. We laughed so hard and so long that we both needed tissues and ended up with a headache. I love this word.
I saw a version of that last year, and decided to try snarling "bubbles" instead of my usual (profane) epithet of choice at work. Not only did it give me the giggles, my co-workers cracked up too! To this day, one of the police officers I was waiting on calls me Bubbles. 😜
You go girl! What an inspiration you are to so many of us.
ReplyDeleteLove and prayers,
Happy thought!
ReplyDeleteHaha! You are right about that!
ReplyDeleteI said "bubbles" and smiled. Thank you Coni. And congrats on your super doctor's appointment!

ReplyDeleteSays someone who never "skated" across a tile floor because her kid spilled bubble solution on it.
ReplyDeleteKaren, Love that! I thought exactly the same thing when I read that meme!
ReplyDeleteThink I'm gonna have to borrow this. Also, Karen, I believe I could say bubbles VERY angrily in that situation. :)
