The almost true exploits of an intrepid spinster and her stitching...and all of the things that make up her crazy, happy, quiet little life.
I love this pattern. I now have this on my wish list.
Looks like your 'hibernation' is going well! ♥ Love, hugs & prayers, Cathryn
Yes...take good care and stitch!! I'm recuperating from knee replacement surgery and doing the exact same thing...enjoy the day Coni...im with you in spirit! Wish I could come stitch the day away with you...💕
I really, do like this pattern!! I am wondering if it could translate to canvas?
I think it would work very nicely! All of the stitches are full, i.e., no half or fractionals. Perhaps a simple tent/continental/basketweave?
Thanksfor the help!!! I think even I can get it done. Great colors. ncg
Looks like you are making a fabulous choice for the day! A day in the happy chair is a good one. We are all stitching in spirit with you.
Coni, you are an enabler! I think at least half of us have either ordered this piece or it's on our wishlist!! Beautiful & fun. Rest, relax & watch more marathon shows! Hmmmm. ...Wonder if there's a pattern for a direwolf?
Hibernation is looking good on your end, Coni. Love your patriotic toes!
Awwww...squeaky-clean, cozy pyjamas, and your stitching: PRICELESS! I think that's the best prescription for healing! Stitch on!!And I love your ottoman...I would just love to have one like that...sigh...
I would glady send you this one, but seeing how it is held together with dog pee and Febreeze, I am pretty sure UPS would reject it on the grounds of it being hazmat...
You appear to be keeping up your end of the bargain quite well - for the most part, relaxing, taking it easy and stitching. I, on the other hand, am flunking the assignment of "go do something fun and tell me about it". Yesterday, the traffic stop by a nice policeman, today, the dentist, with the opportunity for a repeat visit the beginning of August. I don't seem to be doing this fun thing correctly and I am retired. I at least know my dental hygienist had fun, I left her laughing, and I am sure my dentist is happy. I paid for a few more days of his kids summer camp or private school. I am not sure what the bill I paid for at the mechanic will go for - his kids have all graduated with at least master's degrees. It will probably fund his race car hobby....this morning on the way to the dentist I was reminded of how old I am, since my mechanic has been in business for 31 years, his oldest was a baby when I started using his services, and I sure I have at least funded one of the graduate degrees that fellow has. (lol)What should I be doing differently????Prayers continue......
Love seeing your stitching with your feet up :)
