(My first selfie was the one with me holding a sleeping Stewey.)
Ugh...I absolutely positively hate my photograph. But in this case, I wanted to grab a shot of the haircut so I could remember what it looks like. The funny thing is that I picked up the iPad and must have hit the button as I was looking at Stewey's little box thinking "Can you believe I'm doing this, Little?", so I suppose he's kind if in this one too.
Your hair looks marvelous.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone told you today that you are beautiful? If not, may I be the first?
ReplyDeleteConi, your blog was the very first I ever read. I've laughed and cried with you. Be patient with yourself. Let the doctors take care of you. And know, your hairdresser rocks!
Go sit down, have a damn good cup of coffee and get stitching girl...Betty's gonna be *issed if you don't have some stitchy news tomorrow!
Let me be the second! Great photo. Love the haircut.
ReplyDeleteConi, you are so lovely! And the haircut is perfect.
ReplyDeleteyour hair is amazing! I'm going on Monday to get mah hair did because the grays are taking over. I spend about 100 bucks to get my hair done wonderfully, only for it to spend 99% of the time in a ponytail. I don't go anywhere and my work requires it to be up! oh well, for that 1% it looks nice!
ReplyDeleteYou are a very pretty woman Coni. Not as you have described at all...
ReplyDeleteI agree with the others, you are very pretty! And I love the haircut!
ReplyDeleteYou are so beautiful on the outside as well as inside. ❤ the hair cut.
ReplyDeleteGreat great haircut! Make up and jewelry oh MY! I think you look awesome! But that's from a 67 year old portly spinster.
ReplyDeleteThick gorgeous hair and fabulous brows. Billy Crystal put it best, "you look mahvelous".
ReplyDeleteVery glamorous. If you feel as good as you look, you will be unstoppable!
ReplyDeleteI love your haircut and I think you are very beautiful Coni.
ReplyDeleteDon't know why you would be afraid of the dreaded selfie, I think you are quite lovely! I love your haircut, and I am jealous of your thick gorgeous hair. Mine is abundant but very fine and very straight. If I want any look at all, I have to spray on a "helmet" fit for battle! I think I could seriously do some damage in the event I was driven to head butt someone!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful you, with a beautiful haircut!
ReplyDeleteFabulous, Coni!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to SEE you! You're beautiful and I love your hair.
ReplyDeletelovely lovely lovely!!
ReplyDeleteYour hair is beautiful, and so are you. And it's wonderful to be able to put a face to your posts. Thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteYou look like a portrait by one of the Italian greats...
ReplyDeleteI envy those gorgeous eyebrows....Stick like glue to your
hairdresser... she reads you and your hair well.. Don't ever want to hear you call yourself a portly spinster again...more like a selective seductress... That glance pointed at our Stewey says it all.... enchanting..
The face behind the blog and you're beautiful. AND I WANT YOUR HAIR! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMy word your hair is gorgeous. I'm deadly jealous!! And you are just as beautiful on the outside as the inside. Jeffrey Dean has no,idea what he's missing!!
ReplyDeleteWOW!! What a surprise! From reading your blog for years I had formed an impression of how you looked. Was I WRONG. Coni, You are beautiful!! isaaksbaby is right when she says JDM doesn't know what he is missing.
ReplyDeleteI've never commented before but your Stewey stories and of course recent events have made me laugh with you, cry with you and like you, and I have to say, that is a beautiful photo of you. You're more beautiful and special than you know. It's an honour and a pleasure to read your blog and you give me strength in my own ability to carry on. Keep smiling.

ReplyDeleteOh Coni ! You are so not a portly spinster. Why have you been hiding yourself from us, those who love you ? It's so great to have a face to the voice. You are so beautiful and that hair !!!! It certainly is your crowning glory. Hang onto that hairdresser I say !! Don't ever think you are not beautiful. And as the others have said Beautiful on the inside and the outside.

ReplyDeleteOh Coni, it's great to see you! For starters, I love the hair...soft and frames your face and now when I read your blog, I'll actually have a face in mind. This has cheered me immensely. You've got such a fan club, you know. Good luck with the upcoming surgery and here's to feeling so much better once dialysis starts, and fantastic when a new kidney comes your way.
ReplyDeleteLove from Godalming, UK

ReplyDeleteYour hair looks great! And that picture happened perfectly <3
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks lovely. I always feel better when I've had my hair done (even if it does frizz within an hour or two), so I hope this is helping you feel a bit better.
ReplyDeleteWhy am I reminded of the strong Greek women in the "Big Fat Greek Wedding" movies? My gosh, Coni, your face is as beautiful as your voice. Love that you're finally sharing more of yourself with us :)
ReplyDeleteYou and your haircut both look great!!
ReplyDeleteCarolyn
Love the pic! and the haircut!
ReplyDeleteWell, that was a surprise. I was expecting a frumpy middle aged woman in old pajamas and fluffy slippers. But, no. You are a lovely woman and the haircut is absolutely fabulous!
ReplyDeleteMarly is right - fantastic eyebrows!! Love the hair!! You don't look a thing like I expected but now that I have seen you I don't remember what I expected! I say - more pictures!!

ReplyDeleteNice hair! What a beautiful lady you are!
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks amazing, but I was thinking the expression in your eyes tells the real story. Then I read that you were looking at Stewey's box.

ReplyDeleteYou're beautiful, Coni!
ReplyDeleteI love the haircut :)
Oh my goodness Coni, you are a classic beauty!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is SO not how I pictured a "portly spinster." You are a striking young woman with beautiful hair and a classic face. Think Sophia Loren. Don't EVER call yourself portly again
ReplyDeleteA few days late to the photo party - but never too late to say thank you for sharing! It's a hard thing to do when none of us like photos of ourselves ... and one ought not to be judged by its cover. However, as a long time fan I had a fuddy duddy image of what I was sure was YOU fixed in my mind. Could not have been more wrong! Portly spinsters everywhere should thank you for making it look so good!!! Time for a new identity "Stunning Stitcher"!!!
ReplyDeleteI also had conjured up an image in my head of a "portly spinster", and I have to say that it did not remotely resemble the photograph you shared. What a beautiful lady you are!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of your thick hair and great bone structure! Thank you for sharing your " selfie". I too hate to have my picture taken. I actually sneak into my husbands phone and delete all the pictures he takes of me. Maybe we all need to be less hard on ourselves! I live your blog and wish I lived next door to you!
ReplyDeleteYOU are beautiful! And your hair rocks!
