You know that feeling when you're just sitting there minding your own business and you suddenly think to yourself "Hmmm. I think I might be getting the flu."
Well...that's me at the moment.
I had planned on finishing Vaceila today, but I am heading back to bed instead. I loaded up on fluids, took a couple of Tylenol, and had a nice hot soak in a bubble bath, so all will be well shortly, I'm sure.
So here's to happy thoughts that this too shall pass...and quickly!
Girl you can't seem to catch a break! You have such cute Christmas stitching to get started on. Maybe some hot steamy Jeffrey Dean Morgan movies would help! They are keeping me company after Jackie (my Jack Russel and David my husband) go to bed - the house is quiet and the Christmas tree lights are on along with all the Melissa Shirley needlepointed candy canes to decorate the tree and a mug of hot chocolate. Merry Christmas to me! Get well Santa is coming.
ReplyDeleteOh no!!! Hope whatever it is passes quickly and you can
ReplyDeletere-visit Vaceila. That soak in the hot bubble bath along
with the other remedies, sound like a prelude to blissful healing. Hope so.
Well rats, that puts a wrinkle in things. Rest up...Vaciela will be waiting for you. Dale mentioned JDM...I think that sounds just right. Take care of yourself. Sending healing thoughts to you.
ReplyDeleteMe too I feel the UGHS coming on. Feel better Coni!

Sounds like you're on top of it ! Feel better !
ReplyDeleteFlu, etc, is never fun but it sounds like you are doing all the right things. One addition might help: chicken noodle soup with the addition of lime juice,I like a lot, and a couple of shakes of tabasco sauce. Works like a charm for me. But I was just told that everyone has their own "special" remedy and I should mind my own busines. DHs are wonderful but.........
ReplyDeleteTake care! Sounds like you are doing that. If you have some peppermint tea, try that with honey.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better soon! It seems like everyone is sick lately. I am recovering from walking pneumonia, my hubby came down with a stomach virus, younger son has a cold, a friend has bronchitis and another friend has the flu...plus others who are too long to list. 'Tis the season.
