ReplyDeleteIt is good to see you back to blogging. I am an only child and lost my mom this summer. I still have my husband and son, but I could totally relate to your previous post, you just feel alone when you lose someone important to you, especially someone whom you took care of day in and day out. It just leaves a hole in your life. I will be thinking of you and praying that you find comfort.
ReplyDeleteGrateful for folks I've never met (like you) who have touched my heart regardless. Much love from my house to yours on this Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteHoping you have a wonderful day, with peace and love in your heart. I know, from my own experience, that the first holidays are so damn hard when you've suffered a loss. Just hang in there, remembering all the smiles and hugs you shared with Stewey.
ReplyDeleteIt is strange that in the past I had been an infrequent visitor to your site, but for the last several months I have more often come here to check on you and Stewey. Today I found myself thinking of you and hoping you were doing okay. I came and found the amazingly thoughtful and kind words that you were sending us when we coming to help support you.I still do want to help in anyway I can even knowing that you seem to have got yourself together pretty well.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful, thoughtful post with a beautiful Sam Toft picture. I think I am going to order a Sam Toft print in honor of you and Stewey. I am so glad you posted today. I thought of you this morning and wondered how you were coping with your first holiday without sweet Stewey.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you reached out to let us know you are ok. Stewey would like that! Prayers for comfort and peace.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you, Coni, with all good! Love, hugs prayers, Cathryn

ReplyDeleteThank you for being you... Did not see yesterday's post until today and I'm glad to hear from you. Never thought I'd pray for the health of a little dog I met on your Blog, but Boy! did I pray for dear little Stewey. You made us feel like he was our little Stewey too. You are so gifted - wish you'd write a book about all Stewey's antics. It would be a best seller! Thank you too, for introducing Sam Toft to us also.... I love her art and plan on ordering posters and mugs from her for Christmas gifts. Please take care of yourself and continue to keep us posted... you are still in my prayers!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving Weekend! I am thankful for your long distance and pseudo-anonymous friendship.
