HI, Coni - I found your blog via Jo "who can't think of a clever name."... my DH and I are passionate about our dogs. We've had some sadness over the years, so I understand what you are going through. Please know I will keep you and Stewey in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs xxx
Coni, I just want you to know that you are not alone. You are so loved by all of us. My brother's dog had bone cancer and he decided to have her leg amputated. She lived for another 6 months, but many dogs can live happily for years with 3 legs. Please get another opinion from an advanced veterinary hospital. And let me know how you're doing. I am sending you big hugs from afar. You are definitely not alone. Love, Ginny
Coni, thinking of you! You are not alone out here. I would look into a second opinion if for nothing else to give you peace of mind. Continue to love Stewey as you always have and don't forget to be good to yourself as well.
I agree with Robin. If a second opinion will give you some peace of mind, I say go for it. I think that the most important thing is to continue to love and care for Stewey and Bosco. You are in my thouughts
Coni, I've been on a blogger holiday so I just got the news. My heart is breaking for you, Stewey and Boscoe but I know that you will make the best of your time together. Stewey is probably already thinking that Mother has really gone mad now! We're all here and share in your heartache but I'm sure the Little Lord just wants his tea and toast this morning in his bed minus the fluffy bunny....it's ruining his image.
I am just catching up with you and am so sorry to hear the news... our hearts are broken with you... there are no words that can really help... but we who have loved a dog as much as you, know just how you feel. when we let them in to our lives, the power they have to break our hearts is awesome.
He is so sweet. Continued prayers for you and Stewy
