I'm up at the crack of 8:30 today.  I don't know why exactly, but I think it has something to do with SOMEBODY throwing off his little sleeping mask, pounding his little paw on the bedroom window, and shouting "Will you silly birds PLEASE stop that incessant twittering!!!"

Sheesh...and I thought he was a morning person.

So I'm in the cockpit ready to blast off for a fabulous Wednesday.  We've got the damn good cup of coffee, the puzzles from this morning's paper, and our Bird in the Nest Zecca canvas to play with.  Laundry is sorted amd started and if the stars align perfectly I just might clean the kitchen to within an inch of its life.

Or maybe not.

The lamdscape guys are here doing their thing and Bosco has been frantically pacing from the front door to the back to supervise.  Just watching him makes me tired, but I'm counting it as my cardio for the day.

That's the Futzingday report, kids.  I hope you are all well and safe and happy and in your own cockpit.  Do something fun and exciting and come tell me all about it!

  1. It must be some sort of good karma. On the one day I needed
some sign of intelligent life in the universe you are online when needed some great stitchy pictures and some indication that the will be okay----there you, Stewey, and Bosco appear on my computer screen. Thanks!! Now on the the crossword. And, surprise, possibly some stitching. Thanks!!

  2. Sounds a bit busy at your place. I will shortly be on my way to meet with the gals from my local EGA chapter for a couple of we are learning smocking, well some of us are and that includes me.

  3. 14?!
    Is that stitchery logic, Coni?

  4. Hope Futzingday is going smoothly for you, Coni! I am curious about the why behind those plastic rings for your project. Have a fabulous evening!

  5. I too am interested in what way those plastic rings will be used and I am happy you were able to find them! I hope your day was lovely :)

  6. I just realized that Wednesday has become my chore day... I think your Futzingday posts have rubbed off!

  8. Hi Coni - I've been remiss in following your blog. A little birdie tweeted that you were stitching zecca's bird in a nest following my guide. Yay! It's awesome. Love that piece. I've got to go back and read all your posts. Hugs to you and the fur kids. xo ruth
