Love the yarn in your scarf. I too am a Downton Abbey fan, but alas there is an EVENT which occurs further on that has left me distraught and unable to continue to warch. No spoilers here, but you'll know it when it happens. There is a very interesting documentary on Netflix called The Secrets of Highclerc Castle, which, despite the sensational name is a very well done look at the castle where Downton Abbey is filmed. Well worth watching.
Hey! We came to Downton a season late, but have watched every ep at least twice. Check my FB photos from London2012--we made a special trip to the castle in search of the Dowager. (she avoids loud Americans, unfortunately)
Love the scarf -- such pretty colors! What is that thingamajig you're knitting it on? Is it some sort of knitting machine? Looks interesting. Another Downton fan here!
I gave my daughter a set of looms for her birthday earlier this month. She's already made two scarves and tells me it's hard to put down once you get started! I love the one you're working on!
Enjoy Downton! I packed seasons one and two to watch here in FL while we are "snowbirding" in Cape Coral. I may have to watch along with you!
I was able to watch bits and pieces of Downton when it was on TV. I believe it's on Netflix now so think I will start over and watch it properly! I've never tried loom knitting but it looks very interesting. Love the colours you've chosen, very warm! Thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteI'll bet Stewey loves Downton Abbey too. Seems the perfect show to watch in a smoking jacket and ascot.
ReplyDeleteThe scarf looks great.

That scarf is SOOO pretty!! As someone who does not even own a scarf I should probably get myself one of those looms and learn how to do this!
