ALMOST THERE

Just a few more blocks in the border and then this one goes in the FeeNee pile! I'm still not too sure about that teal heart on the left. I frogged the perle cotton (because I thought it was too shiny), and replaced it with Impressions and Splendor. Methinks this will be the bane of my existence!

Coni...This piece is absolutely fabulous! Don't change anything. If you are not completely in love with it I will send you my address and you can pass it on to me!
Love to Stewey this morning.

I actually quite like that little teal heart. You are just burning through your WIPs! Well done. I would send you my address for that piece too (if it would do me any good :) )

"frogged"?

That teal heart looks fine to me. Don't worry about it. Worry about causing Laura Perin to stitch a XS piece instead.

Can I put my name into the hat for the piece if you aren't happy with it? I think its beautiful, really gorgeous! And can you video tape your happy dance tonight, in front of Stewey? We'd all love to see that. LOL

Monica, frogged is slang for ripping out stitches - because we rip it rip it rip it, much like the frogs say ribbit ribbit ribbit

You are over-analyzing. The piece is drop-dead beautiful - and the teal heart texture is perfect with the stitch you chose! You do fabulous work -- if I could only do half as good as you do I would be happy - and that includes your choice of threads/colors/stitches. Be satisfied with you have done and know that there are many of us out here who adore this piece -- and you!!!! Marylou

Coni, can I send you a few WIPs to work into your rotation and then send back to me? I have been 'organizing' the stash and have 3 large shopping bags full of painted canvas!!! That does not count the counted canvas patterns, the beading, the cross stitch (I have more Shepherd's Bush kits than Sheperd's Bush store has), the quilting, the woodwork to make my own frames, the furniture to paint, etc. I have 2 dressers that have been converted to hold thread (which are full) and I have 1 large shopping bag full of threads to file! It is a sickness and I think we need an AA group started. Or am I the only one with this sickness?

I only see perfection, it's just beautiful and doesn't need anything changing IMO.
