I have left trees up through St. Patrick's Day. Now we have a small fiber optic table-top tree that stays on the end table by Husband's chair. It gets turned on right after Thanksgiving and stays on until one of us decides to turn it off. I say if it makes you happy enjoy your tree as long as you want!
yeah ... some people's kids just need to mind their own damn business ... ours makes me feel not so hopeless and it might stay up for the next four years ... just sayin'
Hi Coni, if it makes you happy, go for it. 😊you can decorate it with whatever floats your boat. You have smalls and lots of do-dads. It can be a holiday tree or a hobby tree. Be inventive and push those Betty buttons if you feel like it. M in NC
Put a bunch of paper hearts (ack! 1 month to Valentine's Day already!?!?!) or other red bits on it. Then switch to green things for St. Patricks, etc. and viola! It's now a Holiday Tree, not a Christmas tree.

ReplyDeleteAnd why not? Your house, your rules. Funny how some people just don’t understand that.

Enjoy your lovely tree if it makes you feel better ! Or just enjoy your tree as a reminder that Christmas 🎄 should be celebrated year round! Hope you & JB feel better soon! 😘🤧❤️🩹
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your tree, Coni! And to the Bettys out there, put a sock in it! Continued prayers for you and JB on kicking the flu to the curb.
ReplyDeleteI have a tree for almost every month, leave it up year round! :-)

ReplyDeleteSorry about having the flu! I came down with it between Christmas and New Year’s and am still recovering. Feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteIt's none of Betty's business what do you with your tree, and if it upsets her, she needs to stay off your blog.
