Tonight is Grocery Guild, and I am determined to get some shoes on and go, even if it's only for a minute or two. We are turning in our pilot projects, and despite the fact that mine is incomplete, I at least want to submit my notes.
Thank you for your lovely encouragements lately. I'm not going to lie...this week has been really rough, but your kindness has really gotten me through!
(But I still want my Mommie).
Ciao for now! Hope your week is off to a rip roarin' start!
I hope you feel better soon. I'm thinking of you. I love Mary Tyler Moore, too!
ReplyDeleteConi, dear... call the doctor's office and 1) confirm that this pain in normal, and 2) ask for a stronger pain med. And if that pain med makes you loopy, you'll probably sleep better. Just avoid stitching since you don't want to frog it out later. Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteI agree with checking in with the Doctor. A phone call to at least the nurse to check in with the pain issues may help to avoid a possible infection. Trouper or not - be smart about the pain level. Just do it - you will not be interupting anyone and you may help yourself. Love you Coni - just make the call.
DeleteGood and loving advice ladies. I don't know much about your procedure Coni but usually 2nd and 3rd day post op are the most uncomfortable ones. Best to give the office a call.
DeleteSometimes we women try to tough things out too much.
Listen to these ladies Coni, for they are wise. :) Call your Dr.
DeleteConi you might want to give the Dr ofc a call since you are still in pain just to make sure there is no infection or other problem. Blessings, Baa
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better soon!
ReplyDeleteAgree with all the wonderful ladies...call your doctor's office. You were probably debriefed post-op, and were told about how many days the pain would last and how intense it might be, but it's never a bad idea to check in with the doctor. Otherwise, I hope you get to Guild and have a great time amongst stitching friends.
ReplyDeleteSound advice from sage and loving Friends... Hope you get
ReplyDeleteout to your Guild for a pick-you-up among kindred spirits.
Praying you through.....
I hope you are feeling better soon, and I don't want to minimize anything you are going through, but what is Grocery Guild?
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you're having to deal with all of this stuff... but I enjoy reading about your daily life. Even in struggle you are a very interesting person!!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you are still feeling poorly. Grocery Guild? whats that?
ReplyDeleteHot tea and plenty of it. I prefer lemon with honey. Fresh lemons are good. ((((Coni)))

Very sorry you're still having so much pain from your procedure, and I agree with the others - please call the doctor's office to find out whether what you're going through is normal. It can't hurt to ask and it may lead to some help!
ReplyDeleteFreaking Windows 10 ate my comment. If it spits it back out and there are two, sorry.
ReplyDeletePlease follow your friends' advice and check with the office. Check your temp too to see if you're running a slight fever. If it's nothing to be concerned about, we'll feel better.
So sorry you're still in pain. I hope by now you're better or at least able to sleep tonite.
ReplyDeleteI really am sorry you are in pain. I will keep you in my thoughts and send wishes for better days.
ReplyDeletePlease get it checked out Coni. We don't like to think of you suffering. xx
ReplyDeleteThat is terrible to hear you are still hurting. I hope today is a better day!
