When I bought my first cane, I carried it unused out of the drugstore, limping and crying. So believe me, Coni, we know how you may feel. Use the dang scooter, let the nice kid carry your groceries, take those naps. Keep what you have healthy and well. Let the guilt go! We get that, too. We're all raised to be superwomen and I'm tired of it. Take care of YOU now. And stitch a bit and tell us about it, because your work is so pretty :) -p. I'm very grateful that the stores provide them and don't worry about everyone else. I have found that people are kind and helpful. It took me a while to give in and use the scooters because I felt the same way you do --- everyone was watching me and judging me --- they weren't. I finally realized that this is the only way I can do any shopping for any length of time and am so grateful for the scooters now! You just relax and use the scooters and enjoy your shopping!
