Writing this blog and meeting all of you has been the biggest joy and blessing of my life. (And God knows I have had more than my fair share of enormous blessings.) This blog has been my stage, my platform, my soap box, my confessional, my therapist's couch, my kitchen table, my refuge, and a source of all of those things I've needed to stumble my way through this crazy adventure of being a portly Midwestern spinster who likes to stitch. You have watched me navigate both the best and worst of times...sometimes simultaneously, and your unwavering presence here has shown me the true nature of friendship, love, and unconditional acceptance.
It's been a ride, Dearies, that's for sure! I thank you from the very bottom of my heart, and I cherish each and every one of you who has done so much to make this life of mine so very beautiful, indeed.

Congratulations Coni and thank YOU for sharing your world with us readers. When others, for reasons of their own, gave up blogging you kept yours going which really is an example of your life. No matter what gets thrown at you, you do keep going. You are an inspiration in so many ways and you are passionate about the things and people you love. Happy to know you!

ReplyDeleteWe all love you and your blog Coni!🥰👍😘
ReplyDeleteConi, I have appreciated your meandering since I found you ( mid Stewie days) and find at times our lives run in similar paths. I don’t comment often but often laugh, cheer, commiserate, and pray as your challenges and successes unfold. You have inspired my continued interest in counted thread projects and I am plugging away at completing old (20+ years for a few) cross stitch patterns that sat patiently waiting for me, along with starting a brand new project that called loudly to me… knitting is another passion that replaced stitching for a long time (more portable), but all thread and fiber arts pique my fancy. I wish you all the best, and look forward to each post as they come. It’s like getting a note from a friend!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I've been reading you for years. I don't thinks it's been 18, but I bet it's been at least 10. Thank you again for sticking with us blogging. Such a gift you have given us. I can't write but I love to read so blogging was something I've never done.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your life with us. I think it has made us all a little more human.
