My DH is always kidding me - he thinks that my biggest regret in life is that I didn't grow up in the US, so I didn't get the opportunity to go to Notre Dame. I've already told DS that he's going there when he's old enough for college!

I must admit, I don't pay too much attention to the football, though!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5007999093281954902.post-29061475298543828732008-11-23T12:12:00.000-05:002008-11-23T12:12:00.000-05:00I live in one small and teach in the one twenty mi...I live in one small and teach in the one twenty miles away. I wore my t-shirt with my son's mascot (he's in elementary school) to work one day. The guy down the hall had a fit! Carried on all day. The next week my town played my teaching town and I cheered and cheered for my town. I felt bad because I was cheering against former students, but when my town won by one point in the final 6 seconds, I felt good!stitchin schoolmarmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10602265856414338302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5007999093281954902.post-20880131886555096822008-11-23T08:09:00.000-05:002008-11-23T08:09:00.000-05:00I love you even more now. He is particularly upset that ND pays no property taxes even on their leased commercial real estate that they own ( yes, Notre Dame is the largest land holder in St. Joseph County). Glad you have seen the light on these spoiled punks!!carolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02334282052514723327noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5007999093281954902.post-32124932423943866922008-11-23T00:16:00.000-05:002008-11-23T00:16:00.000-05:00Hey, that's not a sin in my book. They're a team just like any other team out there...they have good years and bad years. I've never understood the near-frothy "oooh, ahhh" over them.Kendrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12113442343449042962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5007999093281954902.post-42051490304665331312008-11-22T23:05:00.000-05:002008-11-22T23:05:00.000-05:00LOL!
