OK. TODAY'S THE DAY.

Coffee...check.
Papers...check.
Stitching...check.

I did make it to the pool late yesterday afternoon and had a delightful few hours of doing my exercises and looking at the clouds.  It was just what ths spinster needed.

Today's agenda is stitching for me, the football for Rich, and maybe something fun for dinner later for both of us.  Notre Dame comes on at 8pm, so I suppose there will be time for some floating if I'm so inclined.

Other than that...just a quiet Saturday in these here parts.  What's new with you?

  1. Today I have a visit with a real estate agent to see about selling my dear, recently deceased father-in-law's house; then, a birthday party for a three-year-old, then a birthday party for my 90-year-old mother with lots of surprise guests from all over the country. I'm exhausted just thinking about it!

  2. Enjoy your stitching! Hope you are able to take a float in the pool if you so desire. Stitching, chores, and reading are on my agenda.

  3. Enjoy your stitchy day Coni. My plans - the day from L. Lists, laundry and luggage. These lists of lists things, I forgot to put down "sleep", and allowed only a 5 minute time slot for panic. I must amend the lists.....
Have a fantastic day, hope the headache stays banged way back and you do something wonderful that involves zero work on your part for dinner.

    Prayers continue......

  4. All the negative comments the other day made me sad on this blog that has brought me so much happiness. Keep your head above the riff raff Coni, and keep your heart, but also your eyes, open. So glad your health is hanging in there. Keep taking care of yourself. Wishing you a happy day!

  5. I'm going to Needle in a Haystack today to look at what Cathe brought home from Destination Dallas, and to see the Jeanette Douglas trunk show. I'm also going to swing by one of my favorite take-out spots and get a humongous seafood burrito that I can stretch out for two meals. I also have to decide what my next project will be....

  8. Glad you had some fun in the pool. Today I had my first day of work in pretty close to 5 years. And I cried all the way home that I wasn't there when my kiddos got home from school. But I am going to go back and try it again on Wednesday so hopefully it will be a better day.
