BEANS, BEANS START!

Things are starting to fly at me fast and furious.  In the next few months I will be running around with my hair on fire trying to get appointments and testing and testing and appointments complete for the next stage of my journey.

I am also going to be looking for and moving into an apartment, losing what little sanity I have left trying to fit "ten pounds of crap in a five pound bag", and oh...I still need to make sure to lose weight, get some exercise, and keep my sleep pattern under control.

You know how I always tell myself to stop worrying about sitting in the Happy Chair all day because it's not like I have to fly a plane of puppies and orphans through a hurricane?

Well....welcome aboard, kids!  We're about to take off!

Good thing I have something to peel me off of the ceiling:

This is Beans, Beans by Plum Street Samplers.  I'm stitching it on 32ct Vintage Autumn Gold by Lakeside Linens using Belle Soie silk in Vanilla Pudding and Old Crow, all as per the chart (except the chart calls for 36 ct.)  What a lovely pleasure!  I was so worried about being able to see 32ct, but so far, so good, and the silk is like butt-a!

So that's it for today.  I have to hurry up and finish my library book so that I can get it returned and pick out a new stack.  Nothing like leaving it until the last minute...it's due today!!  Yikes!

  4. Darlin make a list! I have a small 5.5 x 4.1 spiral note book that I keep lists daily meds times, Dr apts & ride codes, grocery list, prayer list ,stitch, quilt & sewing pattern ideas & tiny sketches,to do lists etc. everything in my life I need to remember goes in these little notebooks. It sits on the sofa arm under my cell phone, goes in my bag when I go out, sits on my night table in case I take pain meds @ nite. I buy 3-4 @ a time so I have a new one when the old one runs out. I'd be lost without it it's my back up brain.
Take a deep breath, one foot in front of the other. Just remember you can't eat the life size chocolate elephant in one bite. Gotta nibble at it.keep stitching & relax it'll all get done. Blessings Baa

  7. Coni, is the apartment just temporary to be near a hospital while you wait for a kidney?

  8. By the way, I am working on a Christmas stocking in 36 count and I had to graduate to a standing light/magnifier in order to work with it. My aging eyes...

  11. Yes , somedays you feel like your head will explode with all the to do things rattling about pushing for attention. There is a site called Free learning and they have a good set-up example of a Bullet Journal. ...I have been using one for 4 months and it is great....so much fun to personalize. L

  17. Why an apartment? I love your little house and the memories of Stewey. Keep us posted, we all care about you. I started Carolyn Mannings Heart full of flowers. I bought the Sprite fabric and used the original colors and love each flower. You were my inspiration. I loved watch you complete a little more each day. Love, shelley faythe in Mahtomedi Minnesota.
