DEEP THOUGHTS FOR A MONDAY MORNING...

I don't know why, but I watched the show "Hoarders" last night, and it got me thinking...

If I'm ever the poor soul sitting next to the dumpster as they carry all of my crap out into the front yard in front of God and everybody, will you all promise to come over and distract me with a pretty piece of needlework and then make sure that they don't throw away any stitchy stuff?

  3. That show is horrible. The people in question need help, but I can't help but think that the tone of the show is "Look at the freak! Look at the freak!" :(

  7. I was visiting a friend, and she HAD to watch that show (she watches all of that strange programming--- Hoarders, Catfish, Woman with Knives, I Murdered My Boyfriend's Cousin's Father's Brother-In-Law and Thought I got Away With It, But Failed Miserably, et. al.). I thought I was going to have an anxiety attack! Yikes!! Rest assured that I will drop everything and rush to your side. Nary a single strand of thread will escape!!

  11. One year I spent so much time watching hoarders that I started to believe I was becoming one. I got rid of about 50% of my things, no joke lol. Since then, I've banned myself from watching such shows as Monsters Inside Me for fear of thinking I have a huge tapeworm or something and make a fool out of myself at the doctor!

  17. Ha! Look at that band of madwomen surrounding Coni with
fire in their eyes directed at the driver of the dumpster
and that smug trash director who insists that floss, needles and WIP's have little or no value..... We all will
    prevail, dear one...
