DR. SPINSTER, PAGING DR. SPINSTER

Move over, Mayo Clinic.  There's a new game in town.  Deep in the hinterlands of Mishawaka, Indiana, U.S.A., a new medical facility has opened up for ailing pups and wayward middle-aged women.

The Spinster clinic is a multi-bed treatment and rehabilitation center (two human beds, umpteen spoiled rotten little dog beds) that presently has hospice, nephrology, and gastroenterology care available.  (*)

Meals are served from our almost award-winning kitchen...lovingly prepared by a Food Network trained home cook that knows how to run amok in the produce section of her local megamart.

The pharmaceutical dispensary inventories a drawer full of the latest in advanced treatment options, as well as a ready supply of Pill Pockets and Virginia ham to help the medicine go down.

And finally...because we believe in a holistic approach to wellness, there is ample time scheduled for TeeVee viewing, napping in the sun, and hours and hours of needlework therapy.

Here, you'll notice that our team has carefully separated the pill bottles so as not to cross-medicate our current patients.

Ask your primary care or veterinary professional about continued care at the Spinster Clinic the next time you have an illness, booboo, or issue that requires mending.  We may not be as big (or as accredited) as Mayo or Cleveland or MD Anderson, but what we lack in respectability we make up for in enthusiasm.

(*) Opening in September 2016... our inpatient mental health department!

  1. Oh Coni! The clinic may be overrun with suffering stitchers and their 4 legged babies before you know it! And with the mental health wing opening soon, our husbands can come too!

  2. Stewey is a lucky little dog to have such a caring Mother, and Bosco is very fortunate as well, having such a big-hearted Aunt. You are giving those puppies a wonderful life. I'm glad you're taking care of yourself, too.

  3. Please reserve a spot for my furbaby and me in the mental health clinic. We shall try mightily to make it until you open for business and care in September......

inundated by kindred stitchery souls that have been nourished by your wit and caring spirit. The mental health department should be a winner... What time is tea?

  10. When can I be admitted? Experienced dog-sitter needs time for piece of elderly needlepoint, being "done" as a gift for a friend to give to her friend but which has been shamefully neglected for far too long. Also prepared to help out with the cooking.
