  1. I love this piece! Congratulations. It was very brave of you to move on to crewel. It has always scared me away but this piece is so sweet it could make me cross the line.

  2. You have fair waltzed through this one and who can blame you, it is so pretty I bet you could hardly put it down. Great stitching, it looks lovely.

  3. It's gorgeous!

You officially enabled me with this piece, Coni. I ordered the pattern (the kit is sold out) from Posy Gets Cozy. I've never done crewel before - though I've always admired crewelwork - and in this case I'll have to transfer the pattern to the fabric before I can even begin. Your finish is so inspiring!

  9. Coni,
You zipped right through that lovely piece. I did crewelwork before I ever attempted counted thread and always loved it. Seems to work up quicker, also. Tristan Brooks has some GORGEOUS patterns, should you feel like venturing onward with the crewelwork.

I look forward to seeing what's next in 'Coni's World'. Keepin up with you provides me with MANY laughs and loads of inspiration! Thanks so much!!

  11. Cute. So reminds me of my childhood and all the crewel that was being done around me.

  12. Beautiful! Is there nothing you can't do with a needle? Knit? Or do you do that, too? :) If not, I am more than willing to teach you. :)
