MS. LIEBOVITZ, I PRESUME?

The sheer brilliance of my photographic skills dazzles the mind, doesn't it? One of these days I might actually READ the darn instruction book that came with the camera so that I don't have to keep subjecting you to these simply dreadful photographs.

I stitched my little eyeballs out last night while watching "Finding Forrester". I forgot how much I like that movie, and God knows a girl can ALWAYS use a little Sean Connery now, can't she?

The dirt is officially in the garden, so now the planting can commence! I got some very good advice from the nice guy that put said dirt into said garden, so I'm off to Lowe's to stock up on all of the stuff needed to keep critters and bugs at bay. Fresh summer salads for everyone! Woo Hoo!

  1. Well it may be a pain to work with all of the different colors of floss, but it is worth it. This is already beautiful! Can't wait to watch this one progress. I only got as far as thinking about stitching last night.

  4. Stitching is beautiful.

Are you going to plant anything that Stewey would like? Maybe some Milk Bones or something for him to dig up? LOL

  5. Awfully pretty, and I don't see anything wrong with your photography! Other than I didn't see a picture of Stewey, of course.

  6. I'm amazed, Coni!! Yoda must have met you in a dream sequence!! This piece is so beautiful. I fully get your frustration about the threads in bulk. My only hope has ever been the ziplock baggies...no matter what else I've ever tried. Everything else just ends up tangled or looking like old used-up shoe cotton to me.... :P Hugs, Deb

  7. Oooh, boy... lots of colors changes makes me long for single color designs. :) And, I feel ya re: the pic issue... I take decent shots of everything else, so why do my stitchy photos turn out so blech?? One of these days I won't be in such a hurry and will actually take the time to figure it out. :)
